About T. Jeffrey Cottle, Attorney at Law

Mr. Cottle has been a member of the Utah State Bar for 22 years, where he has primarily focus on Workers Compensation. Presently he handles only workers compensation cases. These are cases where individuals are injured at work or have an occupational disease.

Mr. Cottle is a member of the Utah Trial Lawyers Association-Workers Compensation section. He is a past member of the Labor Commission Advisory Council including several sub committees. Mr. Cottle is a well known author, speaker and lecturer.

Mr. Cottle works on a contingent fee which is set by the Labor Commission of Utah. That fee is 25% of the first $25,000.00 generated, plus 20% of the second $25,000.00 generated, plus 10% of the benefits generated in excess of $50,000.00 generated, to a maximum or $15,250.00.  There is increase of cases handled in the appeals court. But each client is given a copy of the Labor Commissions fee agreement. Thus, if you do not prevail there is no attorney fee. Although Mr. Cottle has a high success rate.
